At 04. September 1998 was Google of the former Stanford-Students Larry Page and Sergey Brin at a Garage in California founded. In order was the Milestone placed, to index the Internet and earn Money with it.

But the Domain name Google.com was already registered before - at 15. September 1997. Since then, the compan owns the Domain-Name, with a exception in year 2015, there bought a private Citizen for a short period the Domain-Name Google.com
