According to information from the financial services Bloomberg and the industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo Apple will take over the design of the current top model X for all price categories of the next generation iPhone. The company plans phones in three different screen sizes, it said.

Face recognition on all models

The cheaper model should get a 6.1 inch (15.5 cm) display. In contrast to the more than 1000 Euro expensive iPhone X it should have an LCD screen instead of the more contrasting OLED technology - and the frame would be made of aluminum instead of stainless steel. 

In addition to a refresh of the iPhone X with its 5.8-inch display reportedly also give a larger version with a diagonal of about 6.5 inches (16.5 cm). Introduced with the iPhone X face recognition FaceID will now replace the fingerprint sensor in all models.
